So this past weekend was the lantern festival in Seoul. Me and some friends went up Saturday to check out what it was all about, didnt think pre-historic lights could be so interesting.
Tagpol park, a little area that had some interesting artifacts of old time Korea, this was a pavilion where families hung out.
A cool building that had an interesting overhang that we thought was the penthouse suites. And of course a topless swimming pool at the top, we couldnt find it again to gain access.
The top of a tower that once stood near the park, extremely old, that's why it had to be covered.
The first part of the parade, we got great seats near the end of the parade line at the front right on the street.
Dont have a clue what those say.
Didnt learn any more Korean from the time the first guys passed and I took the picture of the second guys, thus I still dont have a clue what this says.

If you have not yet noticed, there is a very common theme of Koreans carrying lanterns in this festival.

So we went out for a couple of drinks afterwards, but we kept it under control. Yeaaaaaa.........

Thats pretty much it, it was a fun parade but the pictures make it look kinda boring. It was tons of lanterns for about two and half hours. Till next time folks. Keep it greasy
