Mike the one in the glasses looking for is dirty Puerto Rican friend, that is right in front of him.
Lost in the sea of people
But before we got all muddy on friday night we decided to go see a Korean theatrical production
Mike, Beeh, and myself at the theater
With the crew after the show
This is what happens when Koreans yell out FREESTYLE, you act crazy and make funny faces for the camera. As if always doing the V or peace sign in every picture isnt crazy enough. They also love to put their hands up next to their face, they say it makes their heads look smaller, I think they look like they are just smiling at not being high-fived.
On the start of our Saturday morning we got to Boreyeong and MR Lee picked us up, he is the owner of a truck, car, motorcycle driving school, and is opening up a horse riding school on the same lot. This is his little cabin on that property.
Mike and Cy not happy that Mr Lee bought 3 more horses
Mike riding one of the new horses......
Doing reallly well until...........
The horse decides it doesnt want to come from underneath the shelter, Mike almost lost his head during this
Mike and Mr Lee
Me and Mr Lee, as a side note, my name, FERNANDO, is fairly difficult to pronounce in Korean, one becuase they dont have an F sound, as well as the R/L sound is rolled into one. So many Koreans struggle with it, and MR Lee is no exception, they way around it you may ask???? Pronouncing my name like Banana.
Before we hit the mud fest we went to a Boxing match near the mud plaza, it was Japan vs Korea. And for any of you know or heard of the Korean war, Korea isnt too fond of Japan for about 50 years of crap they put them trough.
So needless to say after the first fight when Japan clearly won, the judges called it a draw. This is because the Japanese for one dont want a riot, but a Korea friend explained that it was just showing respect for inviting Japan over and hosting the fight.
Put em up
Mike and our Korean friend Song Taek.
The liquid courage got us busting a move
with a busted face
Mike cutting a rug........and the girl in the black bikini is pretending to be a chicken
Painting the mud on
HUGS FOR ALL CLEAN PEOPLE!!!!!
What we looked like before
Song Taek "enjoying" himself at the mud fest
The largest, dirtiest, sandiest, dance party I have ever been a part of.
So this is the next weekend this past weekend. The weather was amazing and a little less crowded. The true breakfast of champions, Soju(green bottle) and Mekju (Beer) with some orangey sodaJust a tad muddy
With Jeremy, my sophomore year College roommate, his girlfriend Malia, and Rj shunning us.
With Steve, my freshman, junior and senior year college roommate and Rj once again.
My Canadian friends, Rylan, Me, Will and Ara
Umm I dont know how to flip photos, so turn your head. You can thank me for the neck stretch later.
In another dance party
About to rinse off in the ocean
And that pretty much sums up the mud fest, tons of mud, boose and people. All in all a great weekend
